A fellow technician. This coworker works with you in the same field doing the same job. Often found in areas such as computers, electronics, manufacturing, service and repair.
I'll need to ask a co-tech to finish this job since I need to leave early.

A couple of my co-techs called in sick today. My workload for today just doubled.

Tech Co-Evolution

The reciprocal process through which humans and technologies continuously shape one another's development. Tech Co-Evolution recognizes that advances in artificial intelligence, digital tools, assistive technologies, and immersive environments influence how people think, learn, create, communicate, and relate, while human values, ethics, and lived experiences simultaneously influence the design and evolution of those technologies.

Tech Co-Evolution describes an ongoing relationship in which technological innovation and human development evolve together; this framework understands the relationship as iterative, adaptive, and relational.

For many people technology can amplify both opportunities and challenges. Artificial intelligence, communication platforms, virtual environments, wearable devices, and assistive technologies may expand creativity, accessibility, and self-expression while also increasing cognitive load, sensory demands, information saturation, and ethical complexity.

Within this framework, "conscious evolution" refers to the intentional development of greater self-awareness, reflection, wisdom, and ethical discernment as people learn to navigate increasingly complex relationships with technology.

Tech Co-Evolution asks how societies can develop technologies that strengthen human dignity, accessibility, creativity, ecological responsibility, and collective flourishing.
Tech Co-Evolution is distinct from Tech Covultion. Tech Co-Evolution harnesses the process with sovereignty and radical informed consent and empowers individuals, communities and the collective to embrace and harness the tools for bettering humanity.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
