To vote for a politician or political party based on rhetoric or party lines without analyzing the candidates or their positions on the issues.

Regardless of how often the United States government narrowed the rights of its citizens with things like Patriot Act, NDAA, or NAFTA, the half of the eligible population that even bothered showing up to the polls continued to autovote Dempublican.
