Adrian Smith

Member of the holy trinity that are the axemen of the great Iron Maiden. Smith's style greatly differs from his fellow counterparts, (Murray, Gers) for his legato playing is quick yet smoother and arranged to correlate to the given chord structure. His fast passages are closely complementary to his melodic solos which often are more influenced by blues scales.

With all technicalities aside, he is a bloody amazing guitarist and has had an indescribable impact on heavy metal culture.
A small sample of Adrian Smith's great solo/riff material include: Aces High, Flight of Icarus, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Wasted Years, Stranger in a Strange Land, Brighter Than a Thousand Suns

Adrian Smith

Guitarist of Iron Maiden from 1981-1990, 1999-current. His rhythmic picking style, heavy metal-type tone, and blazing vibratos and solos have established him as one of classic metal's gods on the guitar. He also has a skill for writing songs, which is evident in "The Evil That Men Do," "2 Minutes to Midnight," and "Wasted Years."
Adrian Smith's solo in "Stranger in a Strange Land" suits the song incredibly well.

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
