When two people try to walk past each other but they both go in the same direction thus getting in each other's way. When two people abilver, it usually goes on for 10 seconds but seems like an eternity due to the immense awkwardness of looking like an ass to the other person.
Jack noticed that Ryan was walking in the opposite direction of his path and the two were bound to crash into each other; so they both stopped and abilvered until Jack finally let Ryan pass, making both men look like asses
