Fore-shortened spoken form of "exanthropy"; a perspective which is not human-- to speak without innately human concerns or considerations

An exanthropic (xanthropic) view of planetary problems may lay human behavior at the root of them. The future of the world is not colonization of space or AI, but instead a perpetuation of the natural systems which have been in relative balance for eons of time.

A human being who enacts a perspective that it not homocentric is an exanthrope (a xanthrope).

Hey, stop being so xanthropic, and go grab some more beer for this kickin mindless fuckin party!

At Christmas, instead of buying a sweater for a loved one, buying a chicken on a non-profit website that goes to someone in the developing world as your gift to a loved one here, and the loved one here gets a certificate that says who got the chicken.

The practice of gift-lanthropy is increasing in North America.

Many non-profit organizations are implementing the model of gift-lanthropy to increase donations.
