Popularity seems to be exclusive to the radically-neoconservative, the "religious right" and others of their ilk. Their stock-in-trade is misconstruing facts, blowing things all out of proportions, and out-and-out fabrication of their "news" stories.

Basically, they do for bullshit what Stonehenge did for rocks.
