Located in Readington Township, in Hunterdon County (wealthiest county in the country), New Jersey. Whitehouse Station takes its name from Whitehouse (adjacent neighborhood) and Abraham Van Horn's 18th Century Tavern. This small town is settled comfortably amidst rolling hills and scenic farmland.

This town also kicks ass because of the adorable stone library-slash-train station, nearby Cushetunk Mountain and Round Valley Reservoir, and the fantastic La Casa Bianca, a locally-owned, Italian cuisine, fine dining establishment. The beautiful Rockaway Reformed Church stands proudly at the end of the main street (Route 523), and is worth a quick visit to see its charming stained glass windows.

Nearby shopping includes Bridgewater Commons, in Bridgewater Township, and Liberty Village Outlet Center, in Flemington.
