In the old south, after a hen laid her eggs she would want to sit on them until they hatch. Even if you gathered up all her eggs, she would still sit on the empty nest. So in order to “break her” and get her to lay more eggs, the farmer would lift her off the nest and dunk her in water. She’d then go right back to her nest, so this had to be done two or three times, after which she’d be mad as hell and start “fussing and scrambling about” Apparently this “broke her” and she’d start laying eggs again.

Madder than a wet hen 

Used in common phrases by rednecks/ white trash. It means to be madder than a wet hen, and when a hen gets wet; it gets really mad. The term cannot be said the way it looks though. You have to break it up all redneck like. Such as the example.

Wet Henry 

A Wet Henry is the more crude version of the all-familiar Wet Willy. Instead of putting your finger in your mouth prior to twisting it in your victim's ear, you put your finger up their bum first.

Jessica put her finger up Kevin's bum and then gave him a nasty Wet Henry.
