Vespiform is a Dr. Who reference, an insectoid shape-changer race who can become genetically identical to the species they mimic, and are able to interbreed with them. Their offspring look like that race, but under stress, may change into their wasp-like shape.
In 1885, a Vespiform by the name of Christopher met Clemency Eddison in India and had a child with her.
