Truthreach

Truthreach is the media tactic that is the next natural progression from Public Relations. PR is largely focused on image and spin whereas Truthreach is the transparent presentation of fact. A journalist practicing truthreach may still investigate a subject they are passionate about and have strong opinions on. This approach to media relations was first coined as Truthreach at St. James Park by the Occupy Toronto media team.

Without the active truthreach of independent journalists, the spin of mainstream media would dominate our internet mind space.

When you learn an uncomfortable truth about yourself, a relationship, a situation, etc., and it it fully sinks in.

I have a truthache after losing that promotion.
