Essentially, it is the day, usually happening in April or May, where it is mathematically impossible for Tottenham Hotspur (hence the name TOTTEringham) to finish higher in the league table than Arsenal - their North London rivals.
In the 2015-16 season, Arsenal shockingly passed Spurs on the last day of the season to finish 2nd. Thus, their fans celebrated St. Totteringham's Day.
