Terrific Lady Day

A special day that a man gives to his significant other (girlfriend, fiance, wife) in which he does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. Most of the time, this is done to fix a screw-up, or obtain good graces in preparation for a future screw-up. As seen on the FX series "The League"

My wife is still mad at me for going to Vegas with the boys. Looks like I'm gonna have to give her a terrific lady day tomorrow to make things right.

The product of mixing the word 'terrible' and 'brilliant'. Something that is absolutely awful, but has a certain quality that makes it great, or is just so bad it's good. Usually associated with things with cult followings.

Initially invented in Northern England, rose to popular usage after being featured on sitcom 'Peep Show'.
