Telectronology

Any apparatus designed to make life easier, communication, transport, entertainment, defence etc, which is wholly dependent on electric current to make it work
solar panels are an example of telectronology, before they can create an AC current from DC output they require an AC powered invertor to make the conversion.
The ultimate example is the Internet. Without electricity, it ceases to exist.
