Sylak’d

Verb: (si-lak-d) The act of making a commitment (to an event, gathering, etc) at least one week before the commitment is scheduled to begin then canceling less than two hours before said commitment is scheduled to start.

Conversational use:
Me: Getting tickets to End Game for opening night in four weeks. Show starts at 6:45pm
Sylak: In!

Fast forward to day of show, 6:30pm
Me: I grabbed us 2 primo seats. Lemme know when you get here.

Sylak: Oh, I’m out.

Sylar'd 

To get the top of one's head removed in a way similar to when Sylar from the show "Heroes" removes his victims' brains by cutting off the top of their heads.

"You see that Heroes episode last night?"
"Yeah, man! Isaac totally got Sylar'd!"

Jimmy was looking the other way when the saw blade jumped off its track. Unfortuneately, Jimmy was Sylar'd.
