Stressified

Putting enough force on guitar strings to where one has to change their strings once or twice a performance. The idea is to stressify your strings as to bring out the maximum amount of feeling through the instrument.
Johnny "Guitar" Watson's attacking style of playing resulted in him often needing to change the strings on his guitar once or twice a show, because he "stressified on them" so much, as he put it.
