The act of having the twenty pound note you were waving to attract the barmaid
unexpectedly snatched and pocketed by the formerly trusted associate you were about to buy a drink.

Spotter John stood suddenly empty handed at the bar amidst his smirking
cohorts, "oh Sh*t ! I've been Stradwicked" he sighed.
