Squiggly Bit

An Australian Scientific slang that denotes the Precision Nanosystems microfluidic mixer, namely the junction where the two streams meet, commonly referred to as a Dean Vortex Bifurcating Toroidal Mixer - thus shortened to Squiggly bit.

The aqueous stream meets the solvent stream an passes through the squiggly bit in laminar flow conditions.
