The measurable quantity of how good of a person one is. One acquires soulpoints by doing good deeds, and loses soulpoints by doing bad deeds.

one's self esteem is defined by the number of soul points they have. a particularly harsh burn from a close friend can lead to a net loss of soul points, thus lowering the affected person's self esteem.
