The air trapped in a sealed bag of potato chips (or any snack food). A bad ratio of chip to snackusphere (usually greater than 60/40) can result in a disappointing chip eating experience

I didn't realize that 60% of this bag of chips was snackusphere.

Snackmosphere

The air inside a bag of chips. Like, when you open the bag, and it's less than half full of chips, the empty space is called the snackmosphere.

I opened a package of popcorn today, but it was more snackmosphere than popcorn.
