: a weather condition wherein the weather gods have not found fit to decide what kind of cold and crappy weather they would deign to give us. Is it snow? Is it rain? It is a crap shoot. Wait five minutes and it will change into something else. Bastards.

Portishead may very well be the perfect music to listen to on a snainy day. Or not. It may just bum you out more.

Snain 

A combination of snow and rain. It's like slushy water(hydrogen oxide) falling out of the clouds in the sky. Not cold enough for snow but not warm enough for rain. The snain is in the soquid phase. Between a solid and a liquid. When the snain is falling out of the sky, it's snaining! H2O(l) ⇆ H2O(s) is basically liquid water and solid water at the same time, or H2O(sqd) which is soquid water, or soquid (sqd).

Wear your gloves and scarf and rain coat, it's snaining outside. Look at all that snain!

1) a stupid nanny
2) a creature that lives on the planet of morgoth V. it swings from tree to tree and yells, "SNANNYYYYY" before descending to the purple grass. covered in oils that prevent it from being caught, the snanny is theorized to be a close relative of the crunklypunkle.

Dad: where the hell are the kids?
Mom: I don't know, I left them with the nanny and came home to no one.

i caught a snanny in a net once, but it sprayed dinglegruts at me and i dropped it in the confusion. i smelled terrible for weeks...

A slushy mix of snow flakes and rain droplets. The outter layer of a snain flake is soft and slushy while the inner core is icy. This wintry mix makes walking and driving rather fun
