Stands for "Strong Tendency to Rage", a highly contagious and widespread airborne “disease”, dating back to the early days of the Internet – mainly transferred by angry little nerds trolling the Internet on a CAPS LOCK massacre, a universal symbol of rage. STTR may also be transferred by grumpy old men who sneeze at 150dB while cashing in on the dollar menu at McDonald’s. To date there is no known cure for STTR

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
