This holiday is celebrated from the first day of the new year to January 3rd. Usually, people carve Rutabegga on Runana because they cannot leave the house and are bored. Oftentimes, many people are hung over from new years day. When people have nothing else to do, they then stuff the Rutabegga with frosting and eat it. YUM! On the last day of Runana everyone celebrates by sitting around a rutabegga.
Sally: "Mark, you shouldn't drink so. You'll get hung over."
Mark: "No, it's fine, it's almost Runana!"
Sally: "Oh, right! I almost forgot! In that case," (poors a HUGE glass of beer) "Drink up!

A Ronanator is a person that is dedicated to the success of Ronan Parke and will support him no matter what. It's a person that will stick up for him when people are putting him down, whether its directly or indirectly. It's also a person that truly gets excited at any Ronan news that comes out, if its in a form of simply a tweet or a new song. And this bit is for me personally but, its also a person that wouldnt slander his name by releasing info that might be hurtful even if its about Ronan. It's just someone that will build him up no matter what and would never go at him in a negative manner like ever. Also blogging or tweeting and fanpaging about him contributes to it as well of course! Always joining in on conversations and polls and competitions to win Ronan stuff makes a Ronanator. Just being apart of his career and his life in a positive manner is what its all about. Putting him above the rest is also KEY ;)

The most famus line-up was 16-year old Joan Jett (electric guitarist), 15-year old Cherie Currie (singer), 17-year old Lita Ford (lead guitarist), 16-year old Sandy West (drummer) and 16-year old Jackie Fox (bassist).
Micki Steele, Laurie McAllister, Peggy Foster and Vicki Blue have also been bassists for the band.
Although in late 1977, Cherie Currie left the band and instead Joan Jett became the singer.
The band was formed in 1975 by Sandy West, Joan Jett and producer Kim Fowley, and as the other girls joined they soon released their debut album.
The Runaways released 5 records and one live album: The Runaways, Queens of Noise, Waitin' For The Night, And Now... The Runaways, Flaming Schoolgirls and Live in Japan.
The Runaways were never really big in the US but huge in Japan. Their most famous songs are Cherry Bomb, Queens of Noise, Neon Angels (On the Road to Ruin), Rock n Roll and Born to be Bad.
The Runaways is also a movie about the band, but mostly about Joan and Cherie. The movie is directed by Floria Sigismondi, Kristen Stewart plays Joan and Dakota Fanning Cherie. Overall the movie has gotten very good reviews.
