Romplay is a combination of the words Romania and roleplay thus it's Romanian Roleplay

Y: Nah man, I am playing on Anubis Roleplay.
X: You mean Anubis Romplay?

Very similar to it's little sister, cosplay, remplay stands for: Remove (clothes) play. Costume play can be very interesting and fun at times, but remplay is where the real fun begins.
