Refreshon

Refreshon is somebody who is addicted to the Refresh button (F5) . He has to know every new update on the internet , especially regarding studyies . If a new exercise is published he has to know ASAP . In order to do that he presses the F5 key obssesively.

"Did you see the Refreshon? He already had finished the assigment even before I knew it exists"
"You are such a Refreshon! How do you know everything before I do?"

Condition characterized by the recurrent, obsessive need to refresh one's browser in the hopes of revealing new comments, accolades or validation regarding a Facebook status, link or photo posting.

Zoe's refreshive compulsive disorder (RCD) became debilitating when, four minutes after posting on Facebook, she had received no comments on the adorable photos of her kids.

Refreshbooking

An act of refreshing your facebook every 3 seconds in hopes that someone/or something has been posted or added on their page. Often stems from feelings of utter boredom or extreme loneliness.

Ashley: Sam has actually been staring at the same facebook page for like three hours now

Anna: Only 3 people have confirmed her party so she keeps refreshbooking to see if more accept. They wont.

refresh monkey

Someone who visits a regularly updated website and uses their browser's refresh capability frequently in an effort to view the updated content as soon as possible after it is posted. This especially applies to sites where the updated content includes a feature such as a message board where fans of the site try to get bragging rights by making the first post (aka fipo or fpotd).

You generally have to wade through several "first post" attempts from refresh monkeys before you get to the first real discussion.

Refreshman

Similar to a supersenior, but a refreshman takes first year classes, then changes majors putting them in freshman courses again for what should be their sophomore year.

Guy 1: dude, it's you're third semester, what are you doing in speech101?
Guy 2: I changed majors, so now I'm back to first year classes.
Guy 1: dude, you're such a refreshman.
