Recognizing but ignoring, pretending to never have met that someone you've seen in the library all year but never talked to, your only meaningful interaction that one time when you awkwardly made out with his or her marginally more attractive best friend at a terrible frat party.

Jessica recignored that one dude for three years before he came up to her and confessed his undying love for her, to which she responded with "Lol no".

Relignorance 

Relignorance is when the faithful act religiously ignorant.

1. To go about one's life in ignorance of scientific laws.

2. To base all decisions and actions on the word of god despite the prevalence of popular and accepted scientific explanations.

3. To accept misfortune in confidence of faith

Man, that guy was saying there's no such thing as dinosaurs and earth's only 6,000 years old, such relignorance!

Where you see someone you recognize but don't really want to talk to so you proceed to ignore them and their overall existance

Judy: Oh man, I saw my boss at Target yesterday so I pretended to be interested in the selection of toilet seat covers. It was pretty obvious I was recognore-ing him.

relignorant 

Someone so damn into his religion that it controls his life, behaviour, way of thinking, respect and relations with other people.
Relignorants use social media to post stuff about their religion and try to indoctrinate as many victims as possible, like as if they suffer from religious tourettes syndrome. Their religion is everything and everything is coming forth of their religion. Even their farts are a gift from their transcendent higher power. Their religious tunnel vision makes them only see their religion and they're very intolerant towards people with other beliefs or ideas. It has infected them so much they can't even think properly no more.

"Sarah posted a message on facebook again to thank her god for her train being on schedule."
"Yeah, she's becoming a real relignorant."

Being completely clueless, or ignorant, about the religion you practice. As most people who claim to be atheist are...

Sure she says he's an atheist... but that's only because she's relignorant. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know what the word means.
