Randsplain

General Usage: Rand Paul's attempt to explain his current position on a given issue in light of his past positions; often delivered as a testy refutation when presented with factual evidence of his prior alternate position on the same issue.

Specific Usage: Randsplaining often takes the form of neutralizing touchy cultural or political issues providing a clean slate to establish his current position as his historic unchanged position.

Aggressiveness of the Randsplaining is directly proportional to the number of his video clips, quotes, writings, speeches presented as evidence of past flip-flops or contrasting positions.
In an attempt to explain away his countless flip-flops, Paul rudely cut off the journalist at least five times to Randsplain his one, true position after the latest flip-flop on that one issue.

RandSplaining

When a libertarian uses internally consistent, yet bullshit, arguments to justify selfish decisions that place others at risk.
Dude, Bob was RandSplaining away how their positive COVID tests the week after their Thanksgiving trip was an unlucky roll of the dice, but he ignored all the warning signs and chose to make the trip to their cousins in LA.

racesplaining

A white person explaining to POC what is discriminatory to them and whatnot despite POC repeatedly saying they're wrong. Basically mansplaining but about race and discrimination.
Oh, that's not racist against you.
Shut up! You're white, you don't get to say how we react and what we think is discriminatory against us. You are racesplaining.

handsplaining

When you explain something accompanied by a lot of dramatic hand motions. Similar to Mansplaining.
It's so annoying when Jerry is handsplaining in public and accidentally hits me in the face.

brandsplain

When a brand explains something in a long, proper, and formal way, which always makes them sound good no matter what the situation is. These statements can easily be explained in fewer words.
Example of brandsplaining: We are deeply sorry for this one-time inconvenience, and we can affluently promise this event will never happen again under the status quo.

racesplaining

Lecturing a white person, typically male, about how much alleged privilege they have over the other races and how they are still allegedly responsible for oppressing those other races today.
SJW: Wow this Doctor Who season 11 is great! I loved the Rosa Parks episode and the one on the apartheid in India!
White Man: I hate how they have taken an innocent and entertaining sci fi show and injected a bunch of politically correct social-engineering messages and are hitting me over the head with them every single episode, I am sick of all of the racesplaining!

Redsplain

When a conservative explains a political, social, or governmental concept to a progressive in a condescending way while advocating their political slant on facts
Did you hear Sarah redsplain to me the function of the Electoral College and how it is necessary to our republic?
