This definition is brought to you by the 2011 US Congress ruling that pizza is indeed a vegetable.

The pizza tree, which is native to the upper Indianapolis region, yields large crops of the vegetable "pizza" during the fall season. Pizzas trees are deciduous and are known for spreading rotten tomato paste balls for reproductive purposes. Controlled pizza tree farms often grow pizzas of the pepperoni, hawaiian and plain cheese variety. In recent years, an increased interest in organic vegetable farms has caused spikes in organic pizza markets, introducing heritage blends such as mediterranean and bruschetta.
"I think that pizza trees produce the best vegetables."
"If we need 7-10 vegetables a day, one pizza tree could make an entire family healthier."
