Oblivinaut

A word created when a friend was listening to another complain about their life as an IT and how it was dealing with people who could not comprehend technology.

1. A mix of the words "Oblivious" and "Astronaut" meaning someone who is oblivious to a certain field or subject.

2. One who explores the frontiers of denial.
Boy: I don't understand, how did he become a professor if he doesn't know anything about computers? I mean he's an artist, he's worldly, he's wise, but he can't find the power button on a box that only has one button!

Girl: He sounds super smart, but that doesn't mean they won't hire him just because he's a TechnOblivinaut.
