The act of posting inane status updates, tweets, etc. to liven up an otherwise mundane existence.

1) " So happy about tomorrow!"
* This mundinanity forces readers to inquire to poster, giving poster a positive reinforcement to do it again.
2) " Having chicken and biscuits! Yum!"
* Obvious mundinanity, the most exciting thing in your life is chicken and biscuits?!?

When overcome by mundanity, the afflicted are known to sing in public, run naked in the streets, or otherwise act out to free themselves.
