A person whose intellectual/social standing is so low that one needs to brag about how good they are over a video game made of pixels and numbers, to feel satisfied in real life.

Hey Dave, why are you being such a modchamp and bragging over a game that doesn't increase real life social standings.

The ancient Metolite Tribe (preciously located in Metolious, Oregon) used this word while smoking pot when referring to something wise and phenomenal.

Like mog, mogging and mogged, and with an etymological link to pogchamp.
