"Errrrr, yeah. is that a McChicken (R) sandwich with fries on the side. Is the Coca-Cola a regular, diet or Zero?"

"Yes please."

"Errrrrr, yeah. Sorry it's finger food only. We don't provide cutlery. Enjoy your meal."

McHipster

A person, place, or thing that tries to be countercultural or edgy, but removes the offensive or weird elements to be more palatable to a mainstream audience. These are commonly found in deliberate attempts to gentrify neighborhoods, "craft" beers owned by major breweries, and recently built outdoor malls.

The Yardhouse is a great restaurant, but it has such a McHipster vibe.
