Mary Tyler Moore

Mary Tyler Moore is a very symbolic woman. She was first known on the Dick Van Dyke Show, where she gave him the playful nickname Penis Van Lesbian. She played Laura Petrie (Pronounced Peht-ree), the wife of Robert Petrie and mother of Ritchie Petrie, which was also the name of her son.

Her next Major role was as Mary Richards on the self titled show, 'The Mary Tyler Moore show'. It was a brilliant show, with plot, depth, and wonderful characters. A job at a newsroom with the following : A Fat boss, an idiot anchorman, a hot associate producer (Miss Moore herself), a crazy jewish friend who couldn't stay on a diet, and a blonde with a daughter and a husband who was the secret landlord of the apartment with her.

Miss Moore suffers from Diabetes, and she was an alcoholic. She checked into the Betty Ford centre. Now she is 69 years old. She is a Political Lobbyist for stem cell research, and is a rallyist for the Juvenile Diabetes association.
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it.
With each glance and every little movement you show it.
Love is all around, no need to waste it,
you can have the town, why don't you take it?
You're gonna make it after all.
You're gonna make it after all.

Jake: Dude. Mary Tyler Moore is hot AND skinny!
John: That's cause she's diabetic.
Jake: Ew. Diabetes.

Mary Tyler Moore Syndrome

When someone has "Mary Tyler Moore Syndrome,"
everyone they meet will invariably fall in love with them. The condition is named after legendary actress Mary Tyler Moore, who played the fictional Minneapolis television news producer, Mary Richards, for six seasons on the CBS television network, from 1970-1977. One of the constant themes on that show involved Mary meeting a new man, who would quickly fall in love with her. Of course, by the end of the episode (or a series of episodes), the relationship would take some bizarre turn, and Mary would be a single gal once again.
Kurt is the only guy I know who has ever had Mary Tyler Moore Syndrome. Every man he meets falls in love with him -- hard.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
