MTVitus

Causes a channel dedicated to one thing to branch off in all directions, completely destroying the original cause. Named for the imfamous network MTV, the first known and most prominent case of this disease. There is no known cure and is 100% fatal to ratings, eventually leading to either the death of the channel or the creation of another network to contain the irrelevant shit.
