When a multi-level marketing consultant "teaches" someone—often a person more educated in the given subject—how their MLM product will magically cure their affliction, with questionable or non-existent scientific evidence to back up their claims. The explanation often incorporates scientific phrases that are randomly strung together and ultimately showcases the mlmsplainer's complete ignorance of the topic. "It like, changes the pH of the mitochondria and helps cleanse your gut at cellular level."

milsplaining (blend word ‘military’ & informal form splaining of gerund ‘explaining’) is pejorative term meaning "(of a squaddie) to comment on or explain something to #civvy in condescending, overconfident, often inaccurate or oversimplified manner"
It is total bravado based on a rigid hierarchy where people have to do exactly as you tell them even if you are an utter knob. Civvies don’t give a shit about rank & will tell you to poke it.
