Just a Regular Day 

An expression used (often sarcastically) when you or someone else is telling a story about something they did recently.

Winston: I was eating pizza, just a regular day, and my cat jumped up on the table.

-or-

Winston: I was sitting in my fridge...
Lola: Ya know, just a regular day
Winston: When I realized why my electric bill was going up.
