Italiaboo

A person born in a country that is not Italy but thinks they are Italian because of some old italian great-grandfather or something.
They worship pizza, but forget to put salt in their Barilla pasta, love to watch soccer but only know a couple of famous italian players; they also go around saying random italian words with a weird pronunciation on a daily basis like "ciao bella", "grazie" e other things they heard on Jersey Shore or Buddy Valastro's Cake Boss. The only car brand that truly matter are Ferrari, Lamborghini e Maserati.
Might even sing lyrics or opera thinking they are so cultured.
For an Italiaboo breadsticks are not the same thing as grissini.
"God, my art teacher is such a Italiaboo."
"Really? Does he drive a Fiat 500 perhaps?"
"No, but he always comes to class with his italian bread and always wears one of his favorites shirts that says STRAIGHT OUTTA ROME."
"Has he ever even been to Italy?"
"Not once, but says he dreams of going one day."

italiafro

An ethnic hair type, typically dark in color, among those of Italian descent that characterizes itself by extreme thickness and unusual puffiness. Perpetually unwieldy and uncooperative when cut in all styles and lengths and even when ungodly amounts of various hair products are employed, including, but not limited to, gels, mooses, sprays, and waxes.
Cristiano: Dude, hurry up! We're gonna be late for the movie!

Anthony: Sorry, bro. My italiafro is acting up again.

Italiabama

The part of Long Island, NY that is so insular and self-isolated that could be mistaken for a town in Alabama or Mississippi.

Hard Rs are just as prevalent as Italian restaurants and it is assumed that everyone is Catholic. Everyone is born, lives, and dies within 10 minutes of their childhood home.
Sara: "Wow that was pretty insensitive!?"
Vinny: "Sorry, I know I just spent the holidays with my family back in Italiabama. I didn't have the most open-minded upbringing."

Esercito Italiano

Is like the Army in USA. It is operative in Nato Base (Napoli, Sigonella, Verona ecc.).
Recently (from the 2004) recruitment it happens only for the volunteers, therefore it is a army of specializes. I am fierce to have made the military service in the Italian Army, in 1982 it was still obligatory.
I had opportunity to make friends with american service, expecially US Navy and Air Force. I remember with pleasure Sara J. and Katherine N., ciao.
The constricption period in Esercito Italiano was one year long.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
