1) An incorrect spelling of the Isle of Wight, in Southern England.

2) Used by both Islanders and non-islanders about the Isle of Wight having an extremely high percentage of white people compared to the rest of England.
1) person a: I went to the Isle of white last week
person b: You mean the Isle of Wight?

2) person a: I went to the Isle of wight last week and we walked in to a pub and were just stared at. Didn't see another black person all week.
person b: They don't call it the isle of white for nothing!
