Huasipichai

Kichwa word used in Ecuador for the celebration when a new home is built by the community.

Commonly used as an excuse to gather with friends and drink untill you are “hecho araña”.
Oscar: “Yo! come over to my new house this friday and we’ll do a huasipichai”

Juanber: “nice! I’ll be there with some norteño and peladas for the huasipichai”

Oscar: “dale, bring some ice please”
