The act of pouncing at the opportunity to perform somebody else's karaoke request when the DJ is met with silence when he/she calls their name.

DJ: "Alex, is going to perform Stormzy Shut Up, Alex... Alex are you here?"
Friend: "Hijackeoke?"
Me: "Hijackeoke..."
