Ex. Two people need or want to purchase an item. Neither one has enough cash, credit to purchase the item.
If they go in 'havvers' they can purchase the needed/wanted item. Each person paying half of the total cost.

Fred sure does need that tractor for his farm work; he ain't got the money for it. Fred talks to Leroy about needing that tractor and his lack of money. Leroy is very happy! Fred, I need that same tractor and ain't got the money. How 'bout you and me go in 'havvers' and buy it?
The deal is made. Fred pays half; Leroy pays half the cost. The two men share the use of the needed tractor.

Haverstraw

a village in rockland county, new york. Has mostly Hispanic people in it but there is a handfull of Black and Irish people too. Many rocklanders consider it to be one of the more "ghetto" towns in the county, which is both true and not true. There are many areas of haverstraw that are working class and have crime, but there are also some nice parts of the village (like the bay, its very beautiful, and the houses/apartments there aint so cheap either). It is located right off the coast of the Hudson River at its widest point.

Rocklander #1: Wanna go chill in haverstraw this weekend?
Rocklander #2: Sure, we can meet up with a friend of mine who lives there.
