halket

Halket is an ancient Scottish surname of Viking origin. Hack was a popular Norse and Germanic Christian name, the son of Hack, would be Hacket, as in "little Hack". The original spelling would of included the letter l. Halket also has come to mean White man amongst the American Cherokke tribe, because the old Scottish explorer John Halket was obvioulsy a white man.
