"Groupie supporter" is a term used to describe the friend of a groupie. Not sexually interested in the band/musician/actor/etc, this person is simply a support system for their groupie friend.
"I dont really like the band - but my friend Ashley LOVES them. I'm just a groupie supporter tonight."
