When somebody doesn't understand a joke at first, but they finally get it when the joke isn't even funny or relevant anymore.

John: "What's a cow with no legs called? Ground beef!"
Frank: "HAHAHAHA!"
Pat: "I don't get it..."

*1 hour later* Pat: "Ohhhh I get it! Funny!"
Frank: "That joke is dead now."
John: "You're such a goolbap!"
