golden week

A term used by students in Ireland. Refers to a week where one manages to make it to every lecture, on time - no skiving off.

Last week was the first time in three years that I didn't miss a thing in college! The elusive golden week is finally mine!

A week in which a college student attends ALL classes, tutorials, labs or other academic appointments on his/her timetable.

When Gary failed to go to his tutorial on Thursday he lost his chance at a golden week.
