The dirty, scummy areas of the internet where sex, crime and violence happens. Typically associated with: scams, sexual exploitation, hate crime, spam, phishing, viruses and all other types of nefarious internet activity.

A person or group of people that you have a friendly relationship with online only. A person whom you are friends with through the Internet but have never met in person or spoken to.

When your internet is so much of an epic fail, that it can only be described as failternet.
Usually used when your internet connection stops working frequently.

The word was first coined by Rakey.

Kelsey: Why did you leave us on Skype?
Rachel: Bah. Sorry, failternet!
