(as noun): An airborn partical shed from a larger entity, usually a plant or animal, which tends to move towards a person or group of people due to air currents, static charge, or other forces.

(as verb): To be overly affectionate towards. To hover about the target of ones affection in a doting manner. To move in the manner of a flifter.
As we entered the undisturbed room, the air became thick with flifters.

Damn! A flifter just landed in my eye.

The boy often fliftered about the girls he liked to the point of annoyance.
