Festusche

Slang term for a big deal or something worthy of a reaction. Used a lot by Italian-Americans (or wannabes) and, for some reason, prevalent by those who work at IBM in the Northeast US.

Pronounced fes-TOOSH

The mistake caused a big festusche among management.

1) A bad or undesirable situation.
2) The grouping of hairs forming a small moustache on the upper lip of some women.

1) Since everyone has ignored the problem, it has only gotten worse - this is a major festouche!
2) I told her to wax her lip, but since she didn't listen she now has a thick festouche.
