When your internet is so much of an epic fail, that it can only be described as failternet.
Usually used when your internet connection stops working frequently.

The word was first coined by Rakey.

Kelsey: Why did you leave us on Skype?
Rachel: Bah. Sorry, failternet!

Flinternet 

The dirty, scummy areas of the internet where sex, crime and violence happens. Typically associated with: scams, sexual exploitation, hate crime, spam, phishing, viruses and all other types of nefarious internet activity.

Used by people who use 'meme' (Pronounced ME-ME) Means a person's internet fails at being awesome. Most likely a mac. :D Or a another type of computer without DSL or cable. Vice Versa.

falternative 

Something dat you do instead of clumsily screwing up.

Carrying objects in a backpack is a good falternative to awkwardly lugging them in your arms, where you might stumble and drop said cargo.
