They combine the harshness of melodic death metal with the beauty of traditional Celtic instruments such as the "Hurdy Gurdy" (or wheel fiddle). They are unique among folk metal bands because neither the metal or folk aspect of their music dominates. They even have a few purely folk songs such as Omnos and Isara.
