Elektriker

A Norwegian term, which directly translates to "an electrician" - to be an electrician. The term originates from a mix of miss-interpitation, bad hearing and dialect-confussion. What was originaly intended to be said was " lett drikker", which sounds a lot like "elektriker".
If someone calls you an electrician they are essentialy calling you "a light drinker" - someone how cant handle their alcohol.
